Supplementary Guides

CyBOK supplementary guides are typically developed for emerging or less well-established areas, or for particular application area.

Topic Guides (TGs) draw together topics from across a number of KAs, to give a unified treatment to a collection of topics distributed across CyBOK. In general, these will be crosscutting themes where practitioner knowledge is more prominent than academic thinking.

Knowledge Guides (KGs) represent a review of relevant literature on a topic (typically on an emerging topic) that captures the current state of the field, key issues that learners should know about, emerging techniques to address those issues and open research problems.

The CyBOK team welcomes feedback and comments, which can be provided by email to contact@cybok.org.

We would like to understand how CyBOK is being used and its uptake. We request that organisations using, or intending to use, CyBOK for the purpose of education, training, course development, professional development get in touch to let us know. Contact us at contact@cybok.org.
